25 YEARS SERVICE

As Michael Page approaches a staggering 25 years at J-TEQ EMS Solutions Ltd., one thing is clear: the man is practically part of the furniture—albeit either the kind that’s expertly engineered, rigorously tested, and ISO certified or a comfy old armchair. Joining the company on Valentine’s Day in the early 2000s, Michael traded chocolates and roses for quality audits and production schedules, setting the tone for his quarter-century-long love affair with J-TEQ.

Over the years, Michael has worn more hats than a milliner’s mannequin. Quality? Check. Stores? Nailed it. Production? Of course. Engineering? Naturally. If J-TEQ had a knitting department, he probably would have aced that too. His ability to jump into any role and make it sing has not only shaped the company but also earned him the unofficial title of "J-TEQ's Swiss Army Knife." (whilst also moonlighting as a body double for Ken Stott 🤣)

Fast forward to July 2022, when Michael ascended to the General Manager throne. Now, he spends his days steering the ship with the precision of a man who’s spent decades perfecting his craft—or at least figuring out where all the coffee machines are hidden. Under his leadership, J-TEQ continues to thrive, much like the legendary Page himself, who somehow balances efficiency with just the right amount of wit.

But Michael’s impact isn’t limited to Scotland’s fair shores. Back in the day, he was the guy flying back and forth to Germany, building bridges with MSC Vertriebs GmbH, J-TEQ’s predecessor’s parent company. While most of us were working out how to say “hello” in another language, Michael was busy fostering international alliances, proving that good communication (and maybe a pint or two) can transcend borders. Those trips to Germany didn’t just strengthen ties—they added a whole new layer to Michael’s reputation as J-TEQ’s secret diplomatic weapon.

Michael’s legacy at J-TEQ is a masterclass in adaptability, sprinkled with a touch of the absurd. From navigating production hiccups to managing international relationships, he’s been the glue that keeps the company ticking. And while his colleagues occasionally wonder if he’s part robot (how else does he know everything?), there’s no denying that Michael Page is the beating heart of J-TEQ.

As J-TEQ EMS Solutions Ltd. charges forward into an ever-changing electronics manufacturing landscape, Michael is the steady hand on the tiller—or perhaps the circuit board designer holding the soldering iron. Either way, the company couldn’t be in better hands. Here’s to 25 years of brilliance, occasional mischief, and enough coffee to power a small country. Cheers, Michael—you’ve earned it!
